01 · About
I'm Taufik, a Power BI Developer and BI Consultant with more than six years of experience turning complex business data into clear, decision-ready insight.
My background is in Information Technology (Information Systems), and I've delivered analytics work across the insurance, telecommunications and automotive industries.
My work centres on Power BI — Power Query for data preparation, star-schema data modelling and DAX for the KPIs that matter. I'm currently deepening my skills in Microsoft Fabric and modern data preparation, applying what I learn directly to the Power BI solutions I build.

04 · My Approach
Every engagement follows a disciplined, end-to-end Power BI development process — from the first requirements conversation to a deployed, maintained report.
Stakeholder interviews to define the business questions, KPIs and success criteria before any data work begins.
Profiling source systems to assess data quality, availability and structure before designing the solution.
Shaping and cleansing source data with Power Query — standardising, merging and consolidating tables before modelling.
Designing star-schema semantic models with clear relationships, hierarchies and calculation logic.
Writing performant, maintainable DAX measures that encode the KPIs the business runs on.
Designing interactive, accessible dashboards that surface insight without overwhelming the user.
Optimising queries, model size and visuals for fast, responsive reports at scale.
Publishing, securing and supporting reports — with governance, documentation and iteration over time.
