Spend concentration
A small group of suppliers accounts for a disproportionate share of total spend — making them the highest-leverage relationships to manage.
Procurement Analytics
A single, drillable view of organisational spend.
Procurement spend was reported through disconnected spreadsheets, with each stakeholder maintaining their own version of the numbers. This project consolidated spend reporting into one governed Power BI model.
The report gives category managers and leadership an interactive view of total spend, spend mix and supplier performance — with drill-down filtering across categories, suppliers and regions.
Spend data lived in multiple systems and formats. Supplier names were inconsistent, categories were classified differently across business units, and every reporting cycle meant hours of manual consolidation in Excel.
Leadership could not confidently answer basic questions — where the money goes, how spend splits between direct and indirect, and which suppliers concentrate the most volume.

A small group of suppliers accounts for a disproportionate share of total spend — making them the highest-leverage relationships to manage.
Direct spend dominates the mix, but indirect categories show the fastest growth — an early signal for policy attention.
A handful of categories drive most of the month-to-month variance, focusing review meetings on where it matters.
One governed model replaced scattered spreadsheet reporting across teams.
Manual consolidation cycles became scheduled, automated refreshes.
Category managers drill into any category, supplier or region without analyst support.
